Dark Oak and Gold Finish Large Plant Stand Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased two recently to frame french doors and they are nothing short of dramatic and gorgeous. The base and top are very heavy so the piece is quite stable. The description of dark oak and gold is not accurate in my opinion. The finish is more of an antiqued oil rubbed bronze--beautiful. Putting it together is simple, but it took my husband and I a little longer (45 minutes total) because we struggled to line up one of the screws. I highly recommend this piece if you are looking for drama & presence with european flair. Keep in mind this piece is big--tall & fairly wide so make sure you have the proper space! Also, after shopping at several furniture stores and then lots of time shopping on line--the price for the piece is very good.

Metal Ivy Design staircase Plant Stand Review

(More customer reviews)We bought this plant stand about a month ago, when we discovered that our new house had relatively few spots with adequate light for our plants. It does its job quite well: it's attractive (at least for the price), and it's reasonably sturdy. I wouldn't put an extremely heavy plant on this stand, but it's fine for ordinary house plants. Plus, it holds several plants in a reasonably small space.
You DO have to put the thing together, which is a slightly awkward process but not an onerous one; it'd be much improved if the directions consisted of more than four drawings!

Metal Ivy Design Plant Stand - Style 34764 Review

(More customer reviews)I spent days trying to figure out on how to assemble this stand. I worked on it daily until I became so frustrated and would begin on it again the following day.
The illustrations are terrible and there are no written instructions. There is no numbering system and/or letter system to figure out which piece fits where and I injured my finger when one of the parts slammed closed on my finger. The plant stand doesn't stand too even on carpeting and I placed some bumpers underneath the legs to steady it, but it does hold a good amount of pots to place by the window in my bedroom.
Have a rocket scientist try to help you assemble it and good luck!

(More customer reviews)I love this plant stand. Notice in the video, the brackets I mention are not shown in the still pictures provided at the top of the product page. I don't know why that is, but you will definitely need to install the brackets. I only have four orchids on it right now, but can put six on it. If you have any keikis you'd like to share, let me know :)
The package does not include a picture of the item, but does include line drawings posing as assembly instructions. Someone went to great lengths to demonstrate the little bitty Phillips screws on the stand, but didn't bother including all the shelves - I could only make out five. I reckon anyone who could decipher the instructions wouldn't need them anyway. The little bitty screws are pre-installed. You may need to adjust them. I only needed to adjust a couple. Anyway, the instructions are useless, but a little thought and patience are all you really need to assemble it.
I searched the B&M stores locally and couldn't find anything like this. The plant stands had only two or three shelves and were ridiculously expensive. The garden centers didn't have anything like this, either. I don't know what store would carry them, so if you're looking for something like this, go ahead and click "Add to Cart" and save yourself some hassle.
