I put it on a timer to run 12-13 hours a day and the bonsai tree is doing great. My office has no windows, so this is the only light that it receives besides the florescent lights in the ceiling. I am happy with it.

I've grown tomatoes, peppers, wheatgrass, tulips and even a banana tree underneath them. There is virtually no heat emitted and I use way less energy than when I ran my 600w HID lights. Please note that this seller (toolprice) is not an authorized reseller of Sunshine Systems lights and is not selling an authentic (real) GrowPanel Pro. I would check with the manufacturer first (Sunshine Systems) to see if you are buying an authentic light from Sunshine Systems.

(More customer reviews)I can grow all day and night with these wonderful lights for a fraction of the energy costs that I used to incur. I run a small greenhouse and used to use 4 high powered HPS bulbs. They seemed to be OK but they used an incredible amount of electricity and didn't appear as effective as I thought they would be. I ordered the Lighting EVER 90 watt UFO LED grow lights because I read a few reviews singing their praises. I was astounded at their brightness and have noticed an improved growth rate of vegetable growth for my tomatoes, onions and cabbages. They produce less heat and never burn the plants if they get a bit too close like my HPS bulbs did.

So my rating goes from a 5 star to a 1 star...
The 10 year life advertised on these LEDS is a bunch of crap.My review couple of months ago:
I use this light with a 6 foot house plant which likes indirect sunlight and did well in a bright room with a large window facing south. The plant is now in a dark room a window facing north, 1 foot under this light and also using another LED 13 watt led bulb clamped on halfway down the plant. The plant has been under the LED lighting for almost 2 months and is actually doing better than when it was in the bright sunny room.

BloomBoss Square LED Grow Light 14watt Grow Panel Review

(More customer reviews)I bought two of the 14 watt led squares and applied them for various stages of plant growth as either main or supplemental lights. They worked well with clones and seedlings, each panel could support one square foot of pre-vegetative plants just as well as any mh system. For vegetative growth, i found it best to blend the led's with cfl or t5. The key to getting your money's worth is placing these lights RIGHT ON the plants. You'll notice that the led's shoot light straight out, almost like a laser beam, and they produce NO HEAT. Capitalize on these advantages and you'll see some great results. Over all, i would say that each panel is about as effective as a 50 watt mh/hps. Also, the panels are FLIMSY, handle with care and you can expect longevity. Also, you may want to gorilla glue the power cord, because it's kind of loose and WILL BREAK if you frequently move this thing. Would I recommend this panel? Yes, but my best advice is to go for a higher wattage.

(More customer reviews)I've only been using this light for a few days, but I like it. Better yet my plants like it. With a good reflector it covers a wide area and really brightened up my grow room. Any wide screw-in reflector will do. Under $8 at any hardware store. It would take several to bring a crop to harvest, but it's great for seedlings and medium sized plants. And for the price several would be very affordable. It gives off very little heat so it can be placed very close to plants without fear of burning them, and you don't need additional cooling fans. Good little starter light.

(More customer reviews)Notice this product description does NOT mention lumens. That is because the light is too dim. If you knew what the lumens were, you would think the price was far too high. Fluorescent lightbulbs put off more light than these panels.
LED is a great way for indoor growing, however these panels (I bought 2 and returned them all) are so low powered that you will not get good results. There are far more powerful ones on Amazon that cost more, but also offer far more light. Do not make the mistake of trying to do cheap LED. You will need to spend well over $100 per LED grow light panel that should last for at least a year. The UFO would be even better (I bought 4 of those and have no more frustrations).
Do it right or don't do it at all. Avoid these low light panels to save yourself frustration.
