(More customer reviews)I purchased a grow tent at my local shop for $300 that is half the size of this one. I was told that these ones here are made overseas and that the stitching is not as good and that the tent would tear on me. The people that worked there were convinced that these online would not compare to the quality of the ones they had.
So I also purchased this tent to compare for myself.
First off let me say that the stitching quality is just fine except at one point on one zipper it is over stitched and I cant get the zipper all the way down. It is at the very end last 3 inches so really its nothing and makes no difference. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars and if you purchase should be checked just in case.
Second this tent is way easier to put together and take down than the one purchased at my local store. This tent unzips from the front all the way to the end of the sides so you build the frame and than just slip the tent on and zip it up. The floor protector has velcro straps to keep it in place. The metal rods are powder coated.
The one I purchased at my local store you have to get in the tent and put it together. The tent is so tightly put together that when you get to the point of connecting the corners and the very last few pieces it becomes very difficult, I sometimes felt like the tent was going to tear, but I guess that is why it has better stitching. The same goes for taking it down. The metal rods for this tent are not powder coated and I already know will rust over time.
Bottom line paid $110 less than the one at my local store, I got twice the size tent, and much easier to put together. Ok so the stitching might be slightly better on the tents sold at my local store but unless your a stitch expert you wont even notice and the tent has very little chance of tearing because of how it is put together. If I ever need another tent I would get this one without question.
