(More customer reviews)I ordered this in the gold metallic foil planter. The planter is quite substantial at about 5 inches tall and 4 inches across. It is not *wrapped* in gold foil, gold foil is pattern of the ceramic. The gold color is rich and reflective. The quality is very good. The planter is filled with sand colored gravel. The plant was shipped fully assembled in the planter in an upright box. It was carefully packed, nothing came loose and the plant was not damaged.All that was needed upon arrival was to water it. As to the plant itself, it is largely as pictured. In the photo the offshoots are slightly more developed but not by that much. The plant looks healthy and strong though on day 2 of receipt the offshoots are showing a little jet lag from the dry journey. I did not request expedited shipping and hope the bamboo recovers fully. Also of interest is that each of the five stalks has a bamboo green colored plastic cap on the top which looks really nice. It is not at all tacky, it looks good, classy. The caps could be easily removed if desired. The height of the plant in planter is 12 inches. Overall this is a case of getting what I paid for and receiving what is shown in the picture.
