HydroFarm 4 FT. Fluorescent Grow Light Fixture Review

(More customer reviews)I'm using four of these inside the garage and hanging them from the rafters above, so the attachment chains that are included with the fixture (each just a few inches long) are way too short to be of any practical use. If this is how you'll use it also, plan on having to buy additional lengths of chain to allow the fixture to drop down low enough to be an effective light source. In addition, the two-inch-long pull cords will also need extending in this type of installation. But I guess if you're using it as a small-space grow light, these may not be issues at all. The fixture itself has been working fine, and it's nice that these accept the larger T-12 bulbs. One other thing: the box packaging has a somewhat "incriminating" look to it ("GROW LIGHT" in bold lettering, with lots of photos and references to indoor "plants")... this raised a few eyebrows when it was delivered to my workplace office!

(More customer reviews)This is a quality made unit. I was a little skeptical when I ordered it because other brands are selling for considerably more. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It set up easily, the materials are heavy duty and well made. The interior is very reflective and maximizes the available light. The vents are easy to attach fans to, I used 12v computer case fans and a 12v power supply, it works very well. I am adding a 200mm fan to the top vent opening. All fans are controlled by a fan speed control box I made from Radio Shack parts for about $10. The only suggestion I have is a sleeved exit port on the lower part of the tent would be useful to run the wiring through, as it stands you have to run them out of the tent through one of the side vents, or cut a hole in the side of the tent. You can not find a better value on grow tents than this one, but you can spend much more if you have money to waste.

Root Riot RTRTTRY50 Organic Plant Starter Cubes, 50 Cubes Review

(More customer reviews)The root riot plugs are great the item has no humidity dome wich was unfortunate. I had to go buy a dome and it bearly fits and have to mist my cuttings 3 times a day. The clonex Gel is amazing stuff. But got the same results with powder hormone. The plugs and gel get a 5 star rating but the fact that there is no dome made it 3 stars
