(More customer reviews)I have used this lamp for supplemental greenhouse lighting as well as indoor gardening. It works incredibly well for both and it's more efficient in the red spectrum than HPS so although the lumen rating is similar it's more efficient on the reds which give you the results you can see. Even when using it as supplemental lighting in the full sun it adds a dose of red that makes an indisputable difference.

(More customer reviews)VERY bright, good sturdy construction (other than noted below), easy to assemble and plants respond very well.
My only complaint is that the bulb is a minor defect with the bulb itself. It has some "play/movement". It doesn't seem seated well in it's base, but it's a minor issue since it still works well. I didn't think it worth returning the unit over since it still operates great.
Didn't come with hanging chains. Had to improvise that.
