(More customer reviews)I purchased these seeds last spring and set them out early summer. While the vine took off and the plants themselves set out multiple clumps of "snails" the flowers themselves were only beautiful for only part of the day and then they would begin to yellow and wither. Also, since this flower had a sweet odor, it attracted many strange bugs which also detracted from the flower. The BEAN flower was known to have the yummiest beans in historical America, but none of my flowers (and there were hundreds) seeded at all. I'm guessing this is because this offspring is some sort of a hybrid of the original snail flower quoted to be found in Thomas Jeffersons garden at Monticello. Was disappointed not to have any beans and seeds!!! Will probably not order this seed again.
