They were packaged well, roots were wrapped in saran wrap to retain moisture, and stalks and leaves are a healthy light to dark green. I've had them about a month now and all are doing well either in just water or in mini pots with pebbles, which need to be watered twice a week, partially due to the smallness of the pots (fits only two to three stalks) and partially due to our arid, southwestern air. Also, I really like the height variety of this bundle - two or three stalks look great tiered in their pots. So, if you are unsure of what size to get, like I was, this is a great starter collection.. and I'll be back for more once I purchase more pots.
