(More customer reviews)Everything was packaged well and put away safely in the box upon arrival. After reading the instruction manual, I managed to put this item together with ease. I really like the height adjusters so I can raise or lower the fixture.
The ballast is adjustable between HPS & MH which is great. It also runs quiet opposed to my old unit which makes a loud humming sound. I hooked up a old inline fan and ducting I had laying around to the 6-Inch outlets hood - this allowed me to run my light while lowering the temperature transfer from the bulb to my plants. I paid a lot more for my old light setup and I like this one a lot more. Great quality item!

9-08 update: Holy cow I have figs! My little plants is now 3+ feet tall and has 12-14 green fruit. Awesome for year one.

Good Earth Lighting G19920-BK-I Halogen Spot Light Review

I replaced that with a Brightest MR11 12 Volt AC DC 10 5050 SMD LED Bulb Wide Angle 140 Lumen 2.1 Watt, Warm White, 1113WW (2.1 watts) and I don't feel bad at all for leaving this light on all night. The LED bulb is warm enough for my taste (I don't like cool blue LED lighting) and stays cooler in temperature than a halogen.

(More customer reviews)When these units are not defective they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I highly recomment them as they have saved me a fortune in electrical costs. You water less, fertilize less but use a stronger solution when you do. Once you work out the details you will be extremely happy as long as you are prepared to keep replacing them with new units.
Finding one that is still working after more than 2 years of operation is almost impossible. Remember, they advertise that the bulbs last 10 years or more, 50,000 hours or more. No mention of the high failure rate. And these UFO's do fail at an alarming rate. Every couple of months I will notice that one of them only has half their LED's working. No problem they send out a replacement power unit and you are up and running again, sometimes. Other times half of them just go out and replacing the power unit does not fix the problem, so instead of 90 watts going to your plants only 45 watts are. These are only guarenteed for like 45 days or some silly thing like that.
And I received several that were defective when I took them out of the box and plugged them in. I had to pay the postage to return the initially defective units. Ledwholesalers should have paid to take back the initially defective units.
I mixed these quad band with single spectrum 660nm UFO's to get the best results. As long as you are prepared for the high failure rate and don't mind buying them over again, you should have the same great results I have had. There is no other product I have purchased in the last 5 years with such an unbelievably high failure rate. LED's are the wave of the future but they have got to fix this high failure rate.

(More customer reviews)I did not have any experience with Bonsai plants before this purchase. I purchased this bonsai because I thought it had a really unique "trunk" and I liked the spiky top I saw in the picture online. I was shocked, and I felt pretty stupid, when it arrived and I realized that almost the entire thing is CERAMIC. The only part that is real is the spiky part, which is the actual plant, that is glued onto a ceramic base. The unique part of this plant is that it seems to grow out of "nothing" because it does not need soil and it needs very little water. I had to go back and really read the description to find the part that describes the ceramic base that I obviously missed. It was there but I believe it can be easily overlooked. The trunk looks very real in the picture online. So all in all, it's just ok. The company did nothing wrong and their service was fine. The plant came very well packed and in good condition. I would do business with them again.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this boxwood to put out on my porch to replace another shrub that I just couldn't seem to break from water. I followed the instructions and put it out on the porch and have received many compliments on how pretty it is and NOT one person has figured out it's not real, even the lady I have to come in and clean. I had to tell her so she would quit watering it for me. Really a good product and seems to be holding up well so far. It's not in direct sunlight but is on the South side of my house which gets a lot of indirect sunlight.
