Sprouts use very litter water, and are POWER PACKED with vitamins and minerals that most other long term storage type foods are lacking. Also, If you are storing wheat you should pick up a few supplies for growing wheatgrass and get a manual wheatgrass juicer. I am NOT a health nut who eats this stuff all the time, but I am a prepper who does the research, AND TRIES things in advance. I actually love eating sprouts on sandwiches and make sprouts once a month or so, and they are a real treat to me. They are super easy to grow (I mean, it can't get any easier!) Wheatgrass (which is not really a part of this kit, just a recomendation) on the other hand is a bit of an acquired taste I think, and not something I do regularly, but I have done it and its easy, and probably one of the most nutritious foods on the planet. Mix it with any other fruit juice and its great!
I love how this kit comes in a bucket, and it all fit inside very nicely and I could just stack it in with my other buckets of wheat, rice and beans I have store in 5 gallon buckets. If and when the day comes you need to dig into your food storage, you will be extremely thankful you have this kit in your supplies! Its a garden you can use indoors, year round, and have fresh veggies in just days!
