(More customer reviews)I was skeptical about ordering a live plant online, but I took a chance because I liked the novelty idea of the dwarf bananas. The plant arrived in a timely fashion and was packed well with plenty of water in the soil (although the picture is definitely misleading on the size you receive). After letting the plant recover from shipping for two days I transplanted it into a large pot and within a week I already had new foliage that sprouted. It's doing very well in my dining room.
I ordered a dwarf pineapple plant from the same company that also seems to be coming along nicely. I'm definitely pleasantly surprised and rather happy with my purchases!
