(More customer reviews)I ordered this hanger because I needed a substantial hook to carry large, heavy windchimes. The windchimes are too beautiful to hang outside, and their sound is loud, so I decided to hang them indoors. The hanger comes with nice, heavy screws. The finish is painted on, so it's likely that the paint will peel off outdoors, and rust will ultimately occur. But that will happen on all unfinished iron. If I were to move it outdoors I would keep a can of Rustoleum handy just in case. But it's too pretty to limit its use for that reason.
I live in a country cabin and this hanger is lovely with my decor. I wasn't sure whether to get this one or the 13-inch one, but this one works well and I'm very happy with it.
